Family fun at the race track!

Vacation came and went for this family, of so quickly.

Before we left for vacation we had a fun week, the week before. On Mommy's birthday Magaly came down and we hit the beach for the day. Jake had a great time and met new friends, whom he played with very nicely for a while. He also enjoyed the breakfast pizza that "Magdaly" brought down for us. It was a great treat! That week Jake and I had a few days off together and we really enjoyed them!

Vacation this year was spent again up in Lake George. Jake being a year older, got to do a few more things this year that he didn't get to experience last year. On our anniversary, we took him to The Great Escape, 6 Flags. He loved the little peoples village where he got to run into the different houses and stores that were built for people just his size! He rode a carousal, train, a achool bus and even road a little boat, all by himself. We hit the water park pretty quickly, as it was super hot that day! Jake loved the water slide and the pool with sprinklers everywhere. He and Daddy got a raft and enjoyed the Lazy River together too!

Jake also got to ride a horse.. not a pony, a LARGE horse! Daddy had to walk beside him and hold his leg, there were no straps holding him on. Mommy pretty much had a heart attack the whole 2 laps! He LOVED riding Rachel the horse and looked so cute at it!

At night we'd walk downtown, and sometimes during our morning walks with Papa we would hit some rides. He loved riding the police car, Knight Rider, small carousal and the helicopter. He also loved Skeeball! He wasn't able to get the ball all the way up, but Mommy had no problem helping him.

We hit the beach one day and watched the boats go in and out on our walks as well. Jake got a kick out of the ducks on the water too! The water is crystal clear, so you could see their little webbed feet paddling!

In all it was a great week spent with his family..grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins galore!
